First of all, if you are looking for an anime (anime film to be exact) that can touch your heart, then I recommend to you the films of Makoto Shinkai. Well, uhm, for those who don't know, Makoto Shinkai is an anime film director and at one point, a voice actor for (a) film/s he made. I really love all of his films especially the latest one 5 Centimeters Per Second. His films seem to have a similar trend (like space and long distance relationships) but overall, when you're done watching, you just can't help but to love his works. <3

Synopsis:
This is a story about a long-distance relationship between a couple who communicate via mobile messaging across time and space. The girl, Mikako Nagamine volunteered to be part of a certain space army to fight against aliens called "Tarsians", leaving her boyfriend Noboru Terao behind. At first, the time gap of the messages is just a few months but as Mikako's battles take her far away from Earth, the messages take longer to arrive - even to a period of 8 years. Will Noboru wait for her or join her? Is LOVE enough to stand against time and light-years distance?

Synopsis:
The story is about a 17-year girl named Kayano Saitou who has a big crush on her school's basketball team captain - a guy called Kamijou. One day, she finally decided to confess her feelings for him through a love letter. She did made one however (due to shyness and nervousness and because her eyes are closed when she tried to give the letter) she ended up giving it to a different guy - Takeru, who is a troublemaker in their school. Embarrassed, Kayano ran away and left the letter. Kayano realized this and confronted Takeru but Takeru won't give the letter back. Next thing was everyone in class knew about the letter! And the worse of all is Kyano's mother is remarrying and her soon-to-be step-father is none other than the school principal and Takeru's dad.
